Most people on a religious or spiritual journey have come across the concepts of Spiritual Awakening or Enlightenment, terms that allude to a profound transformation in consciousness.

At the heart of these is the spiritual wisdom that the world as we usually know is not the full story about the nature of reality.

Enlightenment has been described for over 2,000 years and is the foundation, under a number of different terms, of all of the world’s major religions, be it Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islamism or Taoism.

 

For most of recorded history this awakening has been the focus and aim for the spiritual seeker, the end goal, one that reveals a universal and sacred ground of being. 

Previously rare, this awakening is now becoming much more common and more freely available for all of us.
